MERRY XMAS and HAPPY 08 EVEYONE!
Hope you guys had a lovely xmas and new year!
Looking back at 2007, I guess it must have been the best year of my life so far!
Oh well, 2007 started with me knowing that I’ll be spending the year in Perth to continue my studies…
Life was considered good back then.
I had a job in SNEC, gotta know a bunch of great people there. Been fun working with them and they had been really good and super nice to me. Even thou I joined them for less than ½ a year, they even threw me a farewell party before I left.
I had a loving bf and he is most prolly the best bf that I ever had.
I have my family which is very supporting, especially daddy that’s always providing me with what he can give me.
Have a loving dog, super duper cute Jodie…
Also, my friends.. not many of them, but they are those that really cared for me and spared a thought for me.
So yea.. I was pretty much contented with my life.
Came over to Perth during feb.
Missed my family and dog sooooo much and just about everything in spore!
Spent my 1st CNY away from my family.
Thou it’s hard, but in return, I found myself a new family over here in Perth.
Met a great bunch of people like mike, jenny and all the uncles and aunties. And most of all, I got myself 2 new younger sisters and grandparents!
Soon, I got used to life in Perth.
Uni was good, met new bunch of friends there.
Basically was half studying and half touring around WA.. hehehehe.
Got my 1st visitor from spore! Kak zai, my SNEC in charge, came over to perth and hang around with her and her husband before they went back to spore.
Then came 1st semester break when I realized that I gotta do a supp for one of my papers… It was such a horrible time I shld say! Realizing that I didn’t made it, just couldn’t believe in it. Thankfully, the bf was walking thru that stage with me, and Aaron whom I just met because of one of my old school mate’s bday [was really thankfully that I found him which is unbelievable..afterall we’re from the same church n etc] , and of cuz KY and other frens..
Then, chose a decision of not going back to spore to spend time with my family even thou I know I missed them heaps. But I took that time to spend with the BF and went to Canberra and Sydney together. Thought that our r/s was going better, but we still broke up eventually.
2nd semester was the best time of my life.
Studies went very well, got myself a part time job and basically was enjoying my life in Perth. Partying, shopping and going crazy!
Spent my 21st bday here! Had a bunch of besties that celebrated my special day with me and of cuz my family that planned a webcam party for me! Hahaha. How can I ever forget about it!
Did more traveling around Perth and WA. And yes, thanks aina! For coming over to perth for a short visit!
finally, graduated from uni... Time passes soooo quickly!
soon i realise that most of my classmates will be going on their own separate ways.. be it back to their country or working over in perth.. was definitly heartbreaking to send jamal off..
then came Xmas. which was really special! BBQ, and our dudes project.. hehehe.. crazy fun! And of cuz, exchanging of pressies…
And till yesterday! Countdown to 2008!... Spent it at yihvoon’s crib … got really smashed.. hehehe.. but it was a great new yr eve!
I guess the best part was that I gotta know everyone else over here better! Really treasured the time I had with them and cherish them… especially mike.. lOLx. All the things we did and went… ahh~ i guess my decision to stay here would be his fault too! Hehehe. Never would have imagined the 1st day I met him as an IT support for the family to errr.. my uncle/bf mike now..
So yup.. 2008 looks promising to me! The decision to stay in Perth and getting a job and stuff... Hope everything just gets better!
